A small hostel close to Phaya Thai

In a Box Hostel is at 55/39 Soi Kolit, Phaya Thai Road, Ratchathewi, Bangkok. Klook lists eight rooms, Wi-Fi and luggage storage, with Phaya Thai Station approximately 100 metres away. The proximity is useful when the BTS and Airport Rail Link fit your itinerary.

Categories include mixed and female dormitories, a double with shared bathroom and triple or family options with private bathrooms. A private bedroom does not establish an en-suite bathroom; match the exact category before reserving.

Recent reports differ on room comfort

A June 2026 Family Room guest, reviewing on 19 July, liked cleanliness, quiet and simple, tasteful decoration, but preferred a duvet to the thin, rough blanket provided. An April 2025 guest, reviewing on 24 May, praised Airport Rail Link access while reporting musty bathroom walls, worn towels, a difficult bathroom door and poor sound insulation.

That guest described basic self-service breakfast items rather than a substantial buffet. Jaywie’s July 2025 visit, reviewed on 11 August, instead found a quiet, clean hostel without bad smells and appreciated shared workspace.

Choose the arrangement that suits you

The station location is the strongest practical attraction. Confirm bathroom sharing and bedding, and treat the varied cleanliness reports as individual experiences. The exact room matters more than assuming all accommodation follows one dormitory layout.
