Identify the Bangkok hostel

Wayla Hostel is a Phra Nakhon property near Bangkok’s Rama VIII Bridge, distinct from the same-name hostel on Koh Lanta. Confirm the Bangkok address when comparing offers or giving arrival directions.

Expedia lists mixed-dormitory accommodation, a bunk category and private rooms, with air conditioning, Wi-Fi and continental breakfast. A private bedroom does not establish a private bathroom; verify the selected category’s facilities.

What the older visitors described

A guest reviewing on 5 September 2018 after an August stay liked the bed, cleanliness, vintage building and peaceful location. A July visitor, reviewing on 11 July 2018, found it homelike but old, particularly the staircase, and used translation software to communicate. A dorm guest’s 1 February 2017 account appreciated privacy curtains and helpful morning staff but described limited English in the evening.

These historical accounts do not establish current staff languages or condition. Agree check-in instructions, floor and bathroom access before arrival, and confirm breakfast terms. Consider Wayla when this Bangkok location and a smaller hostel routine fit the trip, with current arrangements established separately.
