A different location from the village centre
Hotel Khao Sok and Spa is at 265 Moo 6, Khlong Sok, Phanom, outside the main Khao Sok village. The park entrance in the village and the Cheow Lan Lake pier are different destinations, so plan the relevant journey rather than treating them as one location.
The property describes raised bungalow-style accommodation with balconies, a garden, swimming pool and Thai restaurant. Confirm the actual access route and room category if steps matter. Historical accounts mention village shuttles and excursion help, but current schedules and inclusion require agreement.
Room reports and dining evidence have different dates
Martin’s Hotels.com review dated 20 January 2020, after three nights, praised the room, dinner, pool and manager’s help. Andrea’s 26 December 2017 account liked a private, spacious, clean room and peaceful surroundings but found the village inconvenient to reach on foot. These are historical room-stay observations.
A separate HappyCow restaurant review by Vegan_snorkeler dated 2 November 2025 enjoyed tofu fried rice, curries, mango sticky rice and fritters, while recommending explicit requests excluding animal products and honey. The reviewer did not favour the pad Thai. This is dining evidence, not an assessment of a recent overnight stay, and does not establish a dedicated vegan kitchen.
Confirm the transport and food routine
Agree village transfers and any excursion before relying on them. For dietary requirements, discuss the current menu directly. The bungalow setting is worth considering when a quieter base appeals and the journeys to the village or lake are planned separately.
