Stay close to White Sand Beach
The Erawan Koh Chang places you near White Sand Beach, with guests describing beach access across the road. Plan for that crossing when picturing your days by the sea. The rooftop pool adds a separate place to relax, while the coastal outlook in the photograph does not establish a private beach or the view from any bedroom.
The property inventory lists a lift, Era Restaurant and a pool bar. Air-conditioned rooms are listed with sitting space, WiFi, a safe, minibar, television and private bathroom. Check the restaurant’s current hours and the amenities included in your chosen category.
Compare the room rather than the hotel label
Actual bookings in the guest evidence include Superior and Deluxe Mountain View rooms. Those names should not be treated as interchangeable with a sea-view room. Ask which direction the room faces and whether the booked category includes a balcony.
Kim Martin Rasmussen’s October 2023 review of a September Deluxe Mountain View stay praised the staff but felt the building needed renovation. Annlou, reviewing a January 2024 Superior stay in March, also described older facilities and a small restaurant. These reports concern particular stays, but give a reason to check recent room photographs and the condition of the allocated room.
Service and breakfast receive warmer reports
M2323’s February 2024 account of a January Superior stay found the room clean, staff quick to help and breakfast good, and highlighted the beach across the road. The mixed feedback suggests that helpful service and an ageing building can coexist.
On Expedia, David’s April 2024 report after nine nights praised the air conditioning, rooftop pool, varied breakfast and cleaning. Gian’s July 2026 account also valued cleanliness and a walkable location. These are guest experiences, rather than a guarantee of identical conditions for every room or rate.
Make the room choice explicit
The strongest reason to consider this hotel is the combination of White Sand Beach access and a rooftop pool for time away from the sand. Confirm your room outlook, balcony, breakfast terms and arrival arrangements before booking. If room condition is a priority, ask for current photographs of the category you will actually receive.
