A rural streamside stop

Charamai Resort is described in the historical listings as a streamside property at 131 Moo 5 on the Chiang Mai–Chiang Rai road in Doi Saket. This is a rural setting rather than central Chiang Mai. The accounts below concern 2015–2016 and do not establish present operation or services.

What the older bungalow guests reported

Primrose stayed in December 2015 and reviewed on 2 January 2016, describing a stream-facing balcony, comfortable beds and helpful staff. The room had a ceiling fan and large bathtub, but lacked the refrigerator and tea or coffee provision the guest wanted.

Karin’s December 2015 stay, reviewed on 29 December, favoured birdsong, bungalow comfort and watching food preparation in an outdoor kitchen. Gillou29’s April 2016 report described clean, spacious brick bungalows and an English-speaking owner during a stop between Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai.

The appeal and its evidence limit

The dated picture is of separate bungalows and a landscaped stream setting. If considering a stay, confirm current availability and the exact room’s cooling, bathroom and drink-making equipment. Historical hospitality and food reports should not become present booking promises.
