Choose between a dorm and a private room

The Metallic Hostel is a Koh Lanta option near Long Beach. Its accommodation has included mixed dormitory beds and Superior private rooms, so check whether your reservation is for a bed or an entire room. The photographs show bunk accommodation; they do not illustrate every category.

Gustav’s February 2019 report described a clean eight-bed mixed dorm with an ensuite bathroom. Manassavee, reviewing a February 2019 stay, instead described a third-floor Superior private room. Those are distinct booking experiences, not interchangeable descriptions of the same room.

Beach access and shared facilities

Jesse’s January 2019 review placed the beach entrance across the road and described a second-floor shared lounge with a refrigerator, television, sink and balcony. Ask whether that space and equipment remain available, particularly if you intend to keep drinks or food outside the dorm.

Gustav also praised owner Sun’s help arranging excursions, ferry travel and scooter hire. The service was useful during that stay, but availability and conditions need checking for a new booking.

Confirm the present arrangements

The useful detailed accounts here date from 2019. Before reserving, confirm your room type, bathroom access and arrival instructions using current information from the property. The Metallic is worth considering for Long Beach proximity, with the choice between communal sleeping and a private room made explicit.
